Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since I had access to a computer. I’m at the San Diego Public Library with a 15 minute time limit!! EEks! Anyway, I’ve enjoyed time with my Aunt Mollie, Bev, and Jim. Loved the driving tour of Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Griffith Park….we went to Farmer’s Market…delicious fudge!! Laguna Beach was my mom’s old beach hangout in high school and young hood so it was fun to be there. Ate at a great place along the beach, having mahi-mahi and swordfish. The views were out of this world with the crashing surf, beautiful blue ocean water, etc.
I just checked out of the Keating House B&B in San Diego. A lovely place except that S.D. Airport incoming flights came in overhead…a little noisy. Yesterday I ventured along the coast north to LaJolla. Saw harbor seals in action in their cove. I found a “people” cove where I sunbathed and read. Then onto Torrey Pines State Park, where I hiked 3 miles. Last evening I watched the sunset on the beach there. A definite God moment for me.
Onto Julian today to stay two days with my cousin Bobbi and her husband Monte. Love to you all…out of time! –Diane
Dear Steve, Diane, Jeremy and Stephanie,
Lynn and I are soon off to the cabin in Minnesota for the rest of the summer. The dial up connection will make it more challenging to keep track, but we’ll find a way to check-in. God’s blessings to you all. What a wonderful adventure, and I just can’t imagine all the wonderful places and people you meet along the way.
Love,
Don Smith
